It's like a new place around here!

The new carpet is in and looks fantastic. The laminate floors were finished on Monday (and also look fantastic). As an added bonus, the office isn't nearly as warm as it was when it was carpeted.

We went out tonight and got a new dining room set (the table is back ordered until mid-September) because the table I had was in bad shape and the chairs we had were top heavy (ie, toppled easily by our cats who thought this was a great game). We've gotten most of the main living areas put back together.

We'll probably start taking pictures of everything tomorrow. I'm so happy with the way the house is coming together.
