Long weekend
Brad's off in Vegas with some friends. The cats and I have the place to ourselves.
Weekend plans:
- break down the HUGE pile/mound of boxes in the garage; sort out any suitable for a good friend who is moving at the end of the year
- read, read, read
- watch movies borrowed from previously mentioned friend
- play with the cats
- start scanning in the photos from my old photo album
- decide if I want to put the photos in a Movable Type photoblog or just put them up here (I'm thinking photoblog so I can ask my family to stop by and leave info about the pictures)
- remember to feed the fish (it's usually his job)
Exciting stuff, no? Not really. It should keep me out of trouble though.

I visit your photolog every day
I'll definitely need to tutorials once I get started. While I like the blogging software my husband (who took the camera with him to Vegas) wrote, and the photo album software he wrote, I think that I really need to have the commenting system so I can figure out who some of the people are in the pictures and when they were taken.

Accomplished so far:
- finished the book I was reading
- had Thai for lunch (and have the leftovers for dinner)
- watched a movie (Seven Brides for Seven Brothers)
So far today:
- broken down the huge pile of boxes in the garage
- picked out the good ones for my friend who is moving
- flattened the nails in the old baseboards so we can put them out in the trash
- filed (about 2.5 months worth)
- watched the first 3 hours of Pride & Prejudice (last night)
- have been very good about remembering to feed the fish
Yet more stuff:
- laundry (sheets & towels tomorrow)
- finished Pride & Prejudice (good movie, I still have 2 more movies from my friend)
- grocery shopped
- discovered 2 bruises caused by the box and baseboard wrangling this morning
I have some leftover Phad Thai to heat up later on. Mmm! Brad will be so happy he missed the Thai food.
58 pictures scanned (1962-1981). Time for another movie and dinner!
Running out of steam:
- watched I am Sam last night
- clipped nails of all 4 cats
- played with the cats (I didn't write this down every time I did it)
- am still feeding fish regularly
- pretty sure I'm going to do the photolog/blog in MT
- made my lower back sore with the vigorous garage cleaning
- read more of my book (and will go read more now)
- I also got my nails done on Saturday
Left to do:
- thank you cards for birthday presents
- go over my "mid year" review and add my comments to it
- 1 movie left to watch (won't get done this weekend)
Brad'll be home around 1:30pm (2.5 hrs)! He'll be impressed with all I've done while he was off seeing the Blue Man Group and playing in Vegas.

Jen - Sure thing. As long as we do something fun too! I spent about 4.5 hrs today with a friend who is getting her condo ready to sell. We spent about 2 hours cleaning and then went over to the new place and looked over color choices for floors, cabinets, counter tops, tile, carpet, etc.
I would have gone back over to help more but Brad had finally gotten home from Las Vegas and I wanted to see him! Silly man, he told me I was too busy to have missed him.
