Farewell Springside!

| photos | | Comments (1)

Today (at 4pm Eastern), my mom and step-father will be selling what I think of as my childhood home. I think we lived there the longest of anywhere. (Mom, how long have you owned Springside?)

Anyway, a million years ago when I was in college, they'd converted it from a one family Victorian home into a guest house (a B&B without Breakfast).

It was a fun house to grow up in (even if your bedroom was on the third floor and the kitchen on the first - you got a lot of exercise or got more organized at bedtime!) and a great place for friends and family to visit.

You can still see their website, but Mom said she'll be converting it to be her web biz site.

awww... what a great home! i can't imagine how that must feel. i think i would be very upset if my parents sold their home. they have lived in that house since a year before i was born - so it is "my home". wow.
