1. Would you say that you're good at keeping in touch with people?
I'm pretty good. There are definitely people on my list who I don't do so well with, but overall I think I do a good job.

2. Which communication method do you usually prefer/use: e-mail, telephone, snail mail, blog comments, or meeting in person? Why?
Email! Because it usually has such a fast turnaround time. I'm not a phone person. I also like meeting in person though. I only really use snail mail for cards.

3. Do you have an instant messenger program? How many? Why/why not? How often do you use it?
I have 2. I use Yahoo Messenger because that's what we use at work and I've convinced a bunch of friends & family to use it. I also use Trillian for my MSN & AOL IDs. I use YM every day. If they were to take it away from us at work, we'd be in trouble. It's the fastest/easiest way to communicate with people in other departments and it means less telephone time.

4. Do most of your close friends live nearby or far away?
I have some really close friends who live nearby. One who lives about 60 miles away. And a bunch who live back east - too far away.

5. Are you an "out of sight, out of mind" person, or do you believe that "distance makes the heart grow fonder"?
Distance makes the heart grow fonder and wish for cheaper flights.
