Return of TiVo

On the morning of September 14th, Brad was napping on the couch (not uncommon for him in the early morning hours) with the TV on. That's the day I spotted him. Anyway, I woke Brad up and took a whole bunch of pictures of the visiting antelope. After that, I had to go to my nail appointment, so I left and he was making lunch.

While he was getting his lunch together, he realized that he couldn't find the TiVo remote. While I was still out, he went through the entire house searching.

Anyway, I got home and we both looked the house over again. Even checking weird spots like the fridge and the kitchen cabinets. No luck.

Later that night, Brad found a place online that sells TiVo remotes (these puppies are hard to find! they don't stock them in stores) and ordered 2.

Of course, the Sopranos season opener was the next night, so Brad went to the basement and ran wire up to the TV in the bedroom so he could watch Sopranos.

Since 9/14, our TiVo has been dutifully recording all kinds of things for us to watch and erasing things as it needs the space.

Well! (here we are to the point of the story) Tonight the remotes arrived! We have a TON of stuff to watch. I went through and deleted some shows and set a whole bunch of them to "don't delete!!"

I guess we'll be watching shows tonight so we can free up TiVo space for all of the brand new eps starting Real Soon(tm).
