A new gadget!

| daily misc | | Comments (4)

Normally the person getting the new gadgets is Brad. In fact, he got a new gadget today too.

Update: He blogged.

Me, I don't usually get big ticket items. I buy a lot of books, I buy music. But normally, I'm not a big spender.

So, my present to me... a 17" ViewSonic VA720 LCD monitor. I really needed a monitor (Brad lent me one of his 15" LCD monitors, but since it was the better one of the two, I knew he'd want it back) and I got an unexpected check from my mom. She sent it from the house sale.

I love it! I'm going to miss it when I go to work. At least I brought my old 19" monitor to work so I'm not using an old crusty 17" monitor.

Thank you ViewSonic (and Best Buy for the rebate)!

Oh, very cool!
I love my viewsonic - they are such nice moditors! But yours would give me much more desk space! Mine takes up a huge chunk of the space!

lol, and apparently I can't spell monitors. :giggle:

Kristine - that's why I decided to go with a flat panel monitor. Brad had made that decision awhile ago when he had 3 computers on his desk and 2 monitors - a 21" and a 17" (I think). He loves all the space he's gained.

I'm so glad I decided to get it. It was worth waiting for!
