Operation: Save The Pretender
Just received in email:
October 23, 2002: The Main page is updated to request that we renew efforts to write and ask for a final movie. According to our sources, it could happen. We've moved the contact info for the networks to a single page called write. This should simplify both site maintenance and the ability of visitors to quickly find the data.
So write in if you'd like to see a final Pretender movie!

I love that show. I'm way happy that they are playing reruns on TNT every night, and that means I've gotten to see the 2 movies again just recently. Do you think that with Andrea Parker getting a job on a new show, that rules out a new movie? I'd really like them to do more - it seems so unfinished the way it is. And I think they should bring Tyler Christopher (Miss Parker and Jared's brother) back to explain what happened there!

I'd think they'd need to have her onboard for a new movie too. There are definitely a lot of unfinished story lines that it would be cool to have cleared up. So many questions! Why do they always cancel the great shows?
I'd *love* to see a new movie as well. I should set up TiVo to tape the movies for me. For some reason (insanity?), I didn't put them on a video tape when we'd watched.
I can't imagine why they cancelled it. But if I remember correctly, they moved it to a bad time slot right before they cancelled it.
And I meant to come back and comment again - after I posted this comment, I watched my taped copy of Charmed, and Tyler Christopher was on that. I thought that was amusing since I had just mentioned him here!
Have you seen John Doe (on FOX - Friday night)? It has a very similar feel to Pretender. I've really enjoyed the episodes I've seen so far!
