Beauty and the Beast
Tonight I watched the Special Edition Beauty and the Beast. That's long been a favorite of mine especially since they were busy animating it when I went to DisneyWorld last time ('92). Anyway, the new song and scene were wonderful. And they've done a fantastic job restoring and remastering it.
Brad watched a little bit of it while he had dinner, but escaped right before the new scene. Silly man!
I'm off to bed so I can go out and play tomorrow! G'night!

I bought the DVD version of this, and I LOVE it! You didn't say if you have DVD or VHS. But on the DVD, the *Work In Progress* version was so cool.
I just love this movie. I must have seen it a hundred times (I have the old VHS version, as well), but every time it gets to the part where Belle thinks the Beast is dying, and she tells him she loves him, I turn into a teary-eyed mush!
My wife married a technology-forward home theater person.
We don't buy movies on VHS any more... (I stopped around 1996 when I got my first Laserdisc player). Most of the VHS we have left is Lisa's, and a lot of it is Disney (which seems to get replaced as they come out on DVD).
i plan on buying that for jr. for christmas. we used to watch the vhs version, over and over and over when she was little..and the new dvd version will be a great girl's night on the couch!
