Monkey bread
Monkey Bread (Cinnamon-Sugar Bread)
3 tubes of ready-made regular sized buttermilk biscuits (or 2.5 tubes of large buttermilk biscuits)
1 1/4 c sugar
1-3 Tbs cinnamon (to taste)
1 stick butter, melted
Preheat oven to 350.
In a large plastic container w/ a tight-fitting lid, mix cinnamon and sugar. Cut pre-made biscuits into quarters. Roll quartered pieces into balls (nothing precise here). Place dough in container w/ sugar mix. Periodically place lid on container and shake vigorously to thoroughly coat dough. When all dough pieces are coated, add butter and shake again.
Spoon dough into bundt pan (coated w/ Pam). Press into pan a little bit.
Cook 40-45 mins at 350, but check it after 35 minutes. You might need to cover it for the rest of the baking time so it doesn't get too done on the top. Put a cookie sheet on the rack below bundt pan to catch the drips.
Add nuts or raisins if desired.
Recipe gotten from someone at work during a bake sale.

This stuff is great! Yum! (smelling it wafting through the house isn't helping...)
that sounds really good
Yummmmm... that does sound completely delectable. You should run some of that by here on your way to work in the morning.
