Best of 2002 & a recap
Best new author discovered this year: Gregory Maguire
Best movie (seen in the theaters): Spider-Man
Best movie (seen at home): Billy Elliott
Runners up: Shrek, I am Sam, Minority Report
Best music
Music is harder for me to pick since I don't have a record of what I bought (or what Brad bought) this year. I really liked the new No Doubt CD (Rock Steady). I also enjoyed finding Norah Jones and Come Away with Me. Tori Amos released Scarlet's Walk this year (fun concert). Brad found Jimmy Eat World and got the CD for me.
An odd find for me: Eminem's Lose Yourself (from the 8 Mile soundtrack). I heard it on the radio before Brad told me that he'd gotten the soundtrack.
Blogs
It's really hard to pick my favorite blog reads. Especially since in the beginning they were just people I read and now I feel like they're my friends.
Things I learned this year
- We own too many couches.
- There are a lot of people in Colorado who blog (and who we have yet to meet).
- I read. A lot.
- My allergies have been really bad this year (too many posts to link to - who wants to read about snot anyway).
- I love living here and taking pictures, but I still would rather not be in 'em.
- I love Movable Type, blogrolling and Blogomania. They are all wonderful additions to my life.
- I'm not afraid of color, either on me or in my house.
Inspired by Brad's Best of 2002 post and Robyn's top 25 for 2002 list.

Awww, as best movie you left out The Two Towers! Spiderman was great and stuff, but in terms of sheer story-line, set design, and more importantly Unix use, TTT was a magnitude about everything else! Booo!
Only 'cause I haven't seen it yet. Ima bad geek.
I loved I am Sam!
I love the colours in your house! Makes everything look so warm and inviting!...oh ya, I need a new monitor too..have any extras hanging around? heh
I agree that you own too many couches... lol I saw all your pics the other day. That's insane. Why on earth do you own so many couches woman? I was like... *click* Nice couch. *click* Another couch? That one's nice too. *click* More couches? *click* More couches!?! *click*
You are The Couch Queen, madam.
::giggle::
No spare monitors. My old 19" is at work ('cause the one I had there sucked so much, I brought my own in).
I'd be happy to share the couch wealth. Just not the purple one!
