Gave some blood

| daily misc | | Comments (4)

I went with a friend of mine to give blood today. I was not allowed to give blood for the past year because I got my ears repierced so I was "on probation". I filled up my bag in 4 mins! Claudia took 5. wink I had a good iron count which is great considering 2 years ago I lost so much blood that I ended up anemic.

We also stopped in some stores (since the outlet mall wasn't very busy). I bought a new alarm clock. Exciting stuff, eh? Claudia didn't buy anything at all.

Now I have to try to convince Brad to make dinner for me or take me out since I did the whole giving blood thing today and should have a good meal tonight (that's what the women taking blood told me)! Wish me luck!

I hope you get a delicious dinner out!! smile

We hit Outback, wherein I discovered that they now sell USDA Prime cut steaks. The filet I had was every bit as good as the filet I've had at premium steak houses for 50% more money. Highly recommended!

Oh yum. I need a good steak every once in a while smile Unfortunately, my bad husband is a vegetarian, so I'm thinking I won't get him into Outback anytime soon wink Here's looking forward to Christmas Eve, when my dad always cooks some delicious meat!!!! smile I'm glad you had a yummy dinner!

Brad and I have pretty different tastes in food, but we both love a good steak. smile

One day I'll blog our food differences. It's pretty funny in a "you eat together how often?" kind of way. wink
