Lost TiVo remote found

| daily misc | | Comments (7)

Back on September 14th, we lost our one and only TiVo remote. It was bad news. Brad went online and found someone who sells them and ordered two.

Sunday when I went to put more presents on the loveseat (which is over in the inactive part of the living room), I moved the pillows and found the remote.

We had quite a number of helpers looking for said remote and I'm not sure how we managed to miss looking under the pillows. It's not like it was wedged in or anything. Just laying under the pillows.

Now we have 3 remotes. Anyone need one? wink

Update: The place where we ordered ours doesn't carry them any more. I don't know where else to recommend. Sorry.

hold onto at least one extra for me. seriously. i know how hard they are to get--you can't just pop down to the Best Buy and snag one... and since my 3 year-old is now pretty good at using a couple of the buttons, i'm sure it will be lost before long.

Do you still have one? I am getting desperate. We lost ours about 2 weeks ago and I am going crazy. Let me know if it is still available and what kind.

Thanks, Marie

Have broken remote but forgot my locked parental code since we use cable also. No one seems to know how to override the code manually. If I buy a new remote I wonder if it would work with my tivo unit which is parental locked?

I'm in need of a remote as well. Know where he found them online? The only site i've found is tivo.com and they want 30+shipping =/

Actually, we paid a lot for our remotes. Way more than $30.
