Weekly wrap-up #40
[Updated: I forgot to mention that I'm my primary audience because it seemed so obvious that it slipped my mind. But honestly, I do this for me. I like that you come to my site and find fun stuff to read/see/do, but that's secondary.]
Weekly Wrap-Up #40 - To Blog or Not to Blog
1. Why do you blog? I blog because I enjoy it. I was never really good at keeping a journal or a diary, but I can do this because it means typing and not writing everything out. I blog to keep family and friends up to date with my life.
2. What do you blog about? Why? A bunch of different subjects. Life, Colorado, our cats, my hubby, my job (not often), our house, photography, my stoopid allergies, recipes, friends (both people I know online and in person). Really just about anything. Because it's my blog and I can write about whatever I want.
3. Who is your primary blogging audience? Why? I'm my primary audience. Then... Friends. Family. Co-workers. But mostly friends. And out of my friends, I'd say bloggers (or other online types) than those friends who live soooo far away.
4. What is your blogging philosophy? Why? I tend not to rant too much on my blog. Other than that, it's my space to write about whatever I'm thinking.
5. Have you ever stopped blogging or considered ending your blog? Why? What happened? I almost gave up blogging right after I started. I was haivng a really bad week and posted a lot of bitchy, whiny things. Then I was sorry I posted them (this was before we moved to MT), so I edited my homepage to remove the whiny entries until Brad got home and deleted them from the database for me. I started off fresh and have stuck with it ever since.
