Fluff reading
I'm still reading Stephen L Carter's "The Emperor of Ocean Park" but decided I needed something light. So I read the second book by Janet Evanovich and Charlotte Hughes titled "Full Tilt". It was a very light read. Just what I needed.
I think I'll read another Linda Barnes book now.

I've read a couple of the Evanovich books, and enjoyed them quite a bit. They drag at times, but at least she keeps a sense of humor in them.
I really enjoy her Stephanie Plum books. Part of the reason is she's describing places near where I lived back in NJ. But those same books irritate my dad because she doesn't refer to Chambersburg properly, etc.
I love the Stephanie Plum books!! I read them all this past summer while I was house sitting for a friend who left them out for me (I was there for three weeks.) Love them... and especially because I recognize the places, like when she's driving to the airport!
Zuly: I love reading books that happen in places I've lived/been. Stephanie went to the Quaker Bridge Mall in one book -- I used to work there.
