Goin' to the mall

I've been elected to run errands at the mall today. I forgot to get my wedding ring checked last month (have to do it every 6 months), so today is as good a day as any for that. Plus Brad wants me to get his eyeglass coating changed (ie, new glasses). And today is my friend Gina's birthday so I'll find a cool present for her.

When I come back, more blog tweaks! I kinda feel bad that I haven't picked up the PHP books yet, but at least I own them so when I'm ready, I can jump in.

I finished book #5 (Orson Scott Card's "Rebekah") last night and started a new one (Stephen L Carter's "The Emporer of Ocean Park"). Brad thinks it's goofy that I'm reading the OSC books because they're about biblical women but I like them because the women are such strong characters. So spake the atheist.

Anyway, time to get ready to go to the mall. Hopefully it won't be too busy because I'm not really the mall shopper type.
