Good thing we stayed home!
More on call nightmares.
I was napping when I got a page from the support group that data that is usually updated by 5pm wasn't updated yet. Made some calls. Waited a bit. Tried again. Finally the data showed up (by 5:30 which was my "call in the troops" time).
Then Brad and I had dinner and watched The Bourne Identity. I expected to get a few pages around 8pm because some of our servers were going to be restarted, but I didn't get paged.
Shortly after 9pm, my manager called to see if I knew that the web site was down (this is #3 #4 [as of 1:30am] for the week). I hadn't gotten any pages at all! But the good news is that a bunch of people were able to get to work quickly and were able to do some debugging while the site was down.
Cross your fingers that they were able to diagnose it properly and replace the offending hardware.
Be gone, oh foul February!

Eek! I hope February is gone and March is a whole lot better! I just watched The Bourne Identity the other night too, wasn't that a good one??
What type of system[s] do you maintain? Just curious...
Crystal - it's looking up already!
Peter - I'll drop you an email 'cause I don't want to talk specifically about work here.
