Monday Mission 3.08
PromoGuy's Monday Mission 3.08
1. Has anyone ever told you that you needed to lose weight or change something about yourself physically? Who told you and what impact did it have on your life? Your perception of yourself? When I first moved to Colorado, the doctor I went to see (for a regular check up) told me I should lose weight. I was already depressed when I went to see him and left the office crying. I never went back.
2. Do enjoy the snow and cold weather? Yup. As long as the snow doesn't stick around so long that it's grimy and nasty. And none of the snow/ice/snow/ice layers that you get back east.
3. Visualize the perfect winter evening. Are you alone or with someone? How does the evening start? How does it end, and everything in-between. Curled up on the couch with Brad, hanging out, reading, watching tv, snuggling. Yeah, not a very exciting evening, eh?
4. Do you think that technology has had allowed relationships and human interaction to become less personal? Is this a good thing? Where I work, it's usually about the "paper" trail. That's why more people use email and voice mail instead of walking over and talking to you. The other factor (where I work) is we have 2 offices: One in Colorado and one on the east coast. So sometimes it's just easier to have an email trail so you can make sure you're really doing what they expect of you. I don't really feel that email is less personal, but I'm just not a phone person, so I'd rather email anyway.
5. Is there anything you've been meaning to learn, that you can learn, but haven't? (or maybe you have?) Hmmm... there are a lot of things I'd like to learn how to do. How to have stress less is at the top of the list. I also want to learn PHP, but I'm working on that.
6. What skills or talents have you wished that you possessed that you most likely never will? Are you content with that? I'll never be a good singer but I like to sing in the car when I'm alone.
7. What do you think of the concept of "AudioBlogs?" Would you like to hear the voice of your favorite bloggers occasionally? Would you rather listen to or read your favorite Blogs? I like to hear other people's voices. I think it's fun. But I wish that there was a transcript included with the audio blog entry just so you don't miss anything. Personally, I like reading more than listening. I tend to focus better with the written word than long one sided conversations.
BONUS: How deep is your love? You have to ask? ![]()
