What a difficult decision you had to make. But the difficult ones for you are usually the best ones for the other party involved. Be brave, but cry if you want to as well. But bless you for thinking of the kitties best interest first. We're here if you need us.

I have the most incredible amazing friends and most of them I met online through blogging and I'm fortunate to have alot of them here physically too

the internet is no longer impersonal!!

good luck on your decision btw

I know that the decision was difficult. My wife and I took in eleven cats, each with a physical problem. They would otherwise have been put to sleep.

We now have seven and though the four who have passed on remain in our hearts, we continue to shower our others with attention.

I respect anyone who is kind to a cat for it signifies to me that that person is special. My best to you and Brad.

I've listened to you as you've prepared for this, spent some extra time with the kitties, and endured all of the extra trials that have come along with this ordeal. And while you have been unhappy about the situation (as anyone would be), I've not heard you complain or try to keep them selfishly and for your own sake. The decision has been been for them and their best interests, and that shows the true measure of what kind of people you and Brad are.

Beautiful people.

To quote Dionne Warwick:

That's what friends are for. smile

(I don't think she included the smiley in her song though.)

I just did for you exactly what you would've done for me or any of your other friends.

Okay, ya caught me... I only did it because you have the chicken smiley.

Hugs sweetie...that's a really hard decision you made, I'm sure. I feel for you, but I commend you on making a better life for them.

Right now my head is stuck up a police department application. And I just realized I need to get it witnessed by a notary before I can turn it in! Crap! Procrastination, thy name is Clara. Anyway- my thoughts and love are with you and Brad. *hug* Now will someone finish this stinking application for me!? wink
