Great CD, isn't it? My favorites are Tourniquet and Bring Me to Life.
I LOVE this CD (although I'm listening to more of "Origin" (their earlier CD) I do love, absolutely LOVE "My Haunting" . I think it could be a contender for my favourite song... EVER!

Check out Lacuna Coil, The Gathering, and Tapping the Vein. If you want something with male vocals I strongly suggest Anathema or Antimatter :-D
CKY is actually pretty good, too. Kind of between hard and soft rock.
How did you hear about them? I heard a song on launchcast and it was excellent - been trying to track down more audio so I can listen to more than one track before i buy the album (i've bought many albums based on one track to find the rest awful!)
