Snow update
From 9news.com:
» "...approach of a new weather system bringing rain and snow to the Denver area on Monday and Tuesday. It will be the first of two storms for the week."
» "Monday’s storm will bring rain and snow, likely between 1 to 3 inches."
» "By week’s end, another storm system could bring heavier snow..."
» There are still people (tens of thousands) who haven't gotten dug out yet in the foothills (where they got around 11 feet of snow).
» "The National Weather Service said 31.8 inches of snow accumulated in Denver, the heaviest snowfall since a December 1913 storm that dumped 47 1/2 inches of snow on the city over five days."
Blech. I'm glad we were able to get out this weekend. We didn't really stock up for another storm when we went to the store though, so if looks like they're serious, there will be an impromtu trip mid-week. Oh, and it's pothole city out there now.

Eek! The bonus is getting to stay home since you can work from there as well...but having to dig out again!
it's going to be 80 degrees here today..i can't even IMAGINE a snow day right now....
but, i'm still ready to come and dig ya out, you know!
Ack, you really live in the snow a lot!
No snow here, but it has been the coldest day of the month so far -- its still only 36° here...
I think you need to move to Arizona!
How can you have potholes? You live in a mudpit right now.
Clara: OMG you should see our dirt road.
I was actually referring to the blacktop roads, but our road... let's not start talking about it.
Theresa: toooooo hot!
The weather channel says 60 for Wednesday, so I think the big storm probably won't happen! Yay!
Brrrr....it's cold where you are! Keep the hot chocolate flowing, I suggest! Wishing you a good night from sunny(cloudy) southern California, where it is a brisk 51 at 10:45 P.M.
Winter storms are a pain, but I find snowfall during early winter and late winter/spring to be very romantic. Enjoy your time indoors together :-)
Hey. Could you see that huge gas fire south of Greeley from your place? Or did you see it on the news? Crazy huh?
no kidding. i-70 going west is one big crater.
Drew: I heard about it but didn't notice it.
Reb: I'm *so* happy that I don't have to drive on any highways to get to work. Yay for back roads!
Bah! You know nothing of craters! Randolph Rd here in Montgomery County is known to eat small cars on a daily basis. today I was attacked by a runaway hubcap.
