A little tv watching...
Brad and I went to catch up on some stuff on the Tivo. We watched ER.
And then we turned on "Desiging for the Sexes". [Premise: a couple is trying to decorate a room and can not come to agreement on anything at all.] The original host was Michael Payne and he had a fantastic design sense. He was interesting and the show was great. Well, now there's someone else doing it. And they redid the music. And there's music behind the interviews, etc etc etc. So we vetoed that (Brad's doing to watch another one or two and see if they get rid of the cheesy stuff they added).
So we tried out "Designers' Challenge" next. [Premise: homeowner(s) want to remodel a room and want to have a professional do it. Three designers present plans and the homeowners pick one.] Anyway, the people who bought a house were brother and sister. We watched a few minutes of it and I was creeped out, so b-bye to it.
Next up: South Park. It was a 7th season ep (Toilet Paper) and it was pretty funny. Washed away the home show creepiness.
And now I'm drinking. Not anything like other people I was talking to (some who shall remain nameless).

I'm right here chugging along with you guys/gals...
I like the shows on HGTV mostly as well...especially on the weekends when nothing else is on. I also watch the old movie channel as well.
Most tv programs are overrated anyway, only good stuff here is 24 (but we're miles behind the US in season 2) and perhaps some silly early 1990's UK Comedy shows like 'Keeping up Appearances'!
South park is good too though
