Converting, dammit!
Between my hubby and GeekGrrl, I'm finally giving into peer pressure.
Browbeaten, I tell you! But since Brad's finally using Blogrolling, I figured I could make the move to Moz/Phoenix.
I'm sure I'll be grumpy while I have to get all of my cookies set everywhere. And apparently, now that Phoenix is the default, it won't let me run IE. Rude. Please bear with me while I transititon.

Thanks for warning me about that. I'm using Avant, and I'm quite happy with it.
Actually Zuly, I used to be a devout Avant user. The only thing that bugged me was that when it blocked a popup, the system slowed. It might not be a big deal for normal users, but I'm a power user. It drove me nuts. Phoenix is much better. The reason Lisa is having problems is because she set it as her default browser. Trust me, once she gets it goin', she's going to try to convert you too.
tee hee, I am right there with ya, Lisa -- I've been trying to slowly move over from Moz to Phoenix since M posted about it the other day, because I'm sure that she's right about it being faster. But its a pain to have to reenter names and stuff on every site that I'm used to having cookies on!!
heh! i downloaded the newest phoenix files this weekend as well, but i'm so hooked on my moz setup...it just is all tweeked so nice and neatly for me right now, i hate to make the move.
but, now - i take everything that any of my favorite geek girls suggest so seriously, i wouldn't imagine at least not trying it!
I'm also feeling the pain as I have to reset all my cookies in Phoenix.
You never realize how long your URL is until you have to reset your cookies.
I love our domain name though so I can live with having to fix cookies everywhere.
That is cool. I wonder if I'll ever be able to get beyone IE. *sigh* I lead a sad life!! lol
I suppose Phoenix beta is better than IE, but I would've been much happier if she'd just used Mozilla 1.3. But that's okay, GeekGrrl did the convincing, she gets to deal with the crashes.
Brad: You'll get to deal with Phoenix soon enough, since that's the way Moz is moving...
I don't have any problem with the design philosophy of Phoenix, but a lot of people I know (including me) have had a lot of problems with the betas. They're just not production stable. I think it's a waste of your sanity to bother with it until it's ready for release.
If it were stable, that'd be a different matter. And, no, I don't particularly care if it's stable for one person. It was unstable for me, unstable for quite a few people I know, and now unstable for my wife. That's enough instability to make me suggest waiting until release.
Rawr.
Ease up... I was just sayin' is all.
You there? You ok? You haven't posted in like 20 hours. I'm getting worried. And I keep refreshing NewzCrawler to see if there is a new post ... nothing. So now I'm checking in!
Dania held me captive on her blog. And I was practicing my Gallery reinstallation techiniques. And then today, there's that job thingie.
