I bet you never thought I was going to say that I'd reinstalled this mo-fo and got things in (more or less) running order. Well, me either. So I stayed up until it was working better.

Plastic Fruit Don helped out, so be sure to visit him and say thanks.

A clean Gallery install isn't that bad. Somehow Statia had a lot of corrupted files as part of her move. Plus she doesn't have shell access so I couldn't really poke around the file system very well.

I want to install gallery, but I don't have shell access, and I couldn't quite figure out how to do it without the shell access. So I never installed it. One of these days I might make a photoblog like Kristine and Robyn have, instead.

Zuly - You can do it if you only have FTP access, it's just a little trickier. Your FTP program has to be able to change permissions on files/directories.

I can mark up the directions if you think that would help.
