Looking back
Around this time last year, we had already started what was to become a long and devastating wildfire season. This year there is green. Grass is green, trees are budding, fields are starting to turn green. It's wonderful.
Yeah, it means my allergies are worse, but I'm so happy to see things in bloom that I don't even care (much).
Here's hoping that the rest of the spring and summer of 2003 stay green.

I remember looking forward to this time of the year with the same trepidation. For everyone's sakes, I hope it's a moist, green summer.
It appears that A and I going to have to buy stock in Claritin this year. Both of us are sniffling, sneezing, runny-nose, itchy eyes fiends lately. Fun fun.
It really is beautiful, isn't it! We went up to Gilcrest (south of Greeley) on Sunday, and the ride was so nice.
And ... what's all that wet stuff we've been getting lately?? Someone told me it's called rain. Do you remember rain??? LOL! Let's hope it keeps up all summer long!
