1. Would you rather impress or influence others? Why? Which do you tend to do more than the other? I think I probably tend to influence people more than impress them. I'm pretty decent at presenting my points and can be persuasive.

2. Are you able to admit your weaknesses to others? How do you handle your weaknesses (Can you accept them and see them as a strength? Do you strive to overcome them? etc.) Yes, I am quite able to admit my weaknesses to others. I'm not embarrassed to say that there are things I can't do and ask for help. I know that it's a good thing (tm) to be able to recognize your weaknesses. Yup, I'm working on my weaknesses. A little every day.

3. How do you react when you are bossed around, treated as inferior or taken advantage of? It depends on the situation. I don't mind being bossed around if there's something to be learned from it. If it's just someone trying to get me to work harder or faster, I get annoyed. I'm a hard worker and am pretty self-motivated (don't see my previous posts about Gallery for an example of this though). I don't like being talked down to though it happens a lot in my field. Most people don't expect a woman to know what she's doing in the tech industry. I've even had to go as far as bring a guy along to meetings with me so he could relay my questions/etc and get real answers.

4. Do you live your life to meet your own needs, or do you live to meet the needs of others? Why? I try to live my life for myself but I sometimes get sucked into meeting other people's needs. I'm working on getting better at saying no though. I'll be practicing that.

5. This is your Mission on Mondays, but what is your mission in life? To be a good person, to be productive, to be happy.

6. Can you focus on your goals and achieve them, or are you sidetracked by minor distractions along the way? Some of both. There are times when I'm focused and other times when day-to-day stuff seems to take over focus. Rather like firefighting at work (no, not actual fires).

7. When was the last time you cried? What were you feeling at that moment (anger, sadness, etc.)? I cried about a week ago. Incredible sadness and admiration of someone's strength. And that I couldn't just go over and give that person the huge hug they deserved.

Hmm... I might have actually cried since then.
