Puppy update
Oops, I've been bad about this. Blame it on stress. Not the puppy. ![]()
He seems to have gotten the hang of going potty outside. He certainly loves the "run around the yard" time. He hasn't gotten the message that he needs to let us know when he needs to go and he's not in the crate. He just quietly squats somewhere (not always). He seems to be starting to undertstand that biting isn't a good thing. Yay! My feet might make it through the puppy stage. ![]()
I'll take pictures again this weekend. Really.

My goal this week is to visit the blogs I enjoy the most and tell the writer why their site speaks to me as part of the snazzykat love-in.
I don't know how I found you, but I was instantly smitten. I love your site! It's so inviting. Makes you want to snoop around.
I love your puppy pictures (and kitties too). Your writing style in engaging and entertaining. You seem smart, funny, kind and generous.
And you like books. I like that in a person!
If you need to relieve some of that stress and need to have a couple of laughs, just break out the laser pointer and have some fun watching the dog chase the little red dot. Check out the video that I recorded while I was tormenting my dog. It's also great because you can exercise the dog without ever getting off of the couch!!
He sounds just like the perfect little puppy
He's still little..he'll get the idea soon.
We...on the other hand...are going backwards with our Great Dane (she's 8 which is old for her breed) and now while she is sleeping she'll just start wizzing away! Good thing I have tile floors!
if he starts sniffing the carpet or his crate and starts circling around, when you're watching, then that's when you pick him up and dump him outside. that's what i did with my Maddie and my parents' dogs. also, when she was just a pup, we make sure we walk the same path to the backyard door. now that's she's almost 3, she just knows to hang out by the backyard door. she just barks at us to open it or even comes up to either me or my hubby and barks at us or nudges our hands or jump at us to let us know she needs to go out...badly! LOL
we're still working on the jumping and the biting. Maddie thinks it's we're playing with her when we try to get our fingers out of her mouth.
