Weekly Wrap-Up #51
1. What's your favorite method of travel? Why? I'd say flying even though I don't like to fly because it's fast.
2. What's the longest road trip you've ever taken? Where? NJ -> CO. It's about 1800 miles. I did that drive once when I moved out to Colorado and then I drove with a friend back to NJ to move his stuff out.
3. How many plane trips have you taken in your life? More than I can count. The first one was to Florida to visit my dad's parent and go to Disney World.
4. What method of travel do you fear so much or intensely dislike that you avoid it? Why? I don't like travelling by bus. It's ok for short trips around town, but I'd hate to take a long trip on a bus. They're just not comfortable.
5. Describe the worst travel experience you've ever had. That'd have to be the flight back from St. Lucia. (The trip was a company vacation trip paid for by the company.) The plane was delayed a good 12 hours (I think there was a problem with some other plane and they had to send out a new one) so all of the connecting flights had left us. And we flew in so late, that they had to route us to an airport that still had its customs center open. When we finally got back into town, we all had to work the next day and everyone was exhausted. Our boss let everyone go home early though.

Commenting live from my wireless zaurus
That's wierd, I've made the same NJ -> CO drive myself, although it was a total disaster.
Blew a tire out at 75mph on I-80, with a fully-loaded van... wasn't fun! Luckily she didn't topple over, and we managed to get back on the road before long.
