Hopelessly behind

| daily misc | | Comments (9)

I'm so far behind in my blog reading. And I still don't have RSS feeds for everyone on blogrolling... plus I had to remove some people from NewzCrawler because there was just too much for me to deal with.

Anyway, I'm making the rounds slowly but surely. If you want to make sure I read something important in your life, please leave me a comment. Especially you people who are on the "no RSS" list. sad You guys get the short end of the stick because I don't have a visual reminder in NewzCrawler. [idea stolen from Robyn]

I'm clueless about RSS feeds. In fact, it's turning out I'm a bit clueless about lots of things.

Something that A reminds me of frequently... This is a blog, not a job. It's supposed to be fun. If you're putting too much stress on yourself, because of all your reads, cut down. Everyone has been there. They know what it's like to get too many, or need to keep a short list, to keep sane. You can still stop by people's sites who comment here.

Basically, make sure that you keep your mental health a first priority, instead of everyone else's feelings. Okay? smile

I'm using Amphetadesk, which is quite handy. Between that and my blogroll I can usually tell who's been updating. (Now I just need to get some of those other crazy freaks to ping weblogs.com... and get RSS feeds!)

Of course, I'm the dork who had the XML working for months but didn't actually make the _link_ to it visible until a week or so ago... *eyeroll*

Grey: I used to just go to people's sites and add index.xml or index.rdf to their URL. smile
