The offline blues
We went out for a marvelous dinner last night and when we got home, we found out that our connection had been down since 6:30pm. We just got back online now.
Apparently our traffic had gotten marked "illegal" and that's why we were offline.
Even though we both were stuffed from dinner, we split Toasted Nonna's Pound Cake (homemade pound cake toasted and served with caramelized bananas, our own hot fudge sauce and a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream).
We picked up the Audi. It took a little longer than expected but also cost less than expected.
I finally found a box for Sara's present so that will get mailed when I head off to run errands.

How does your traffic get marked as illegal? That sounds kind of fruity.
We have fixed wireless internet access. It uses the MAC address of your ethernet card to determine who you are (and subsequently things like whether you have a dynamic or static IP address, how much bandwidth you get, etc.).
It sounds like they somehow got us marked as being "not a customer".
It'd be nice if they could mark you as "not a customer" when your bill rolled around, eh?
