Weekly Wrap-Up #57 - Summer Fun
1. Do you like summer? Why or why not? I do. I like all seasons. I love the warmth of the sun during the summer. The regular afternoon thunderstorms. How late it stays light outside.
2. What is your favorite summer activity? Why? It used to be to walk on the beach with a friend and a frozen Coke in hand. How can you beat good company and soothing ocean sounds? Now I like to take a book and hang out on the back deck sometimes.
3. What is your favorite summer destination? Why? I don't have one. I think it would be really nice to go up into the mountains in the summer time, but we haven't done that yet.
4. What are your summer plans for 2003? My dad and stepmom are coming out in 2 weekends for a visit. In July, we're [Brad and I] going to Gnomedex. I don't have any plans at all for August.
5. Would you be in favor of rotating long breaks for school-aged kids so that there aren't as many out at the same time during summer? Why or why not? Having grown up in a seasonal town, it was wonderful to have a big block of time off to hang out with friends and work a summer job. I don't really have an opinion on this question.
