Weekly Wrap-Up #54 - Hair... good timing for this, dontcha think?

1. How much hair did you have when you were born? A pretty normal amount.

2. Share a hair memory from childhood. When my mom decided that we should move to Cape May, she also decided that it was time to cut my hair. I'll have to dig around for before and after pictures, but I had long blonde hair back then. I remember crying after it was all cut off. It was short and I just remember hating it. (I was 3 here but we didn't move to Cape May until I was 7 or 8.)

3. How do you style your hair now? How much time to do you spend on caring for your hair? I usually just wear it curly. Sometimes if it's bugging me, I'll pull it back in a hair clip. I've been growing my bangs out for a while now and they're longer than I can remember having them in a long, long time. I don't spend too much time on my hair in the morning. I pretty much put some styling gel in my hair, muss it up a little and dry it just enough so it's not dripping wet.

4. Describe your worst hair day? What happened? That would have to be when I got my hair cut at a salon where no one spoke English as a first language and the woman kept asking me "rinse and set" to which I'd reply "wash and cut". She ended up spritzing my hair with a squirt bottle and cutting it (which just doesn't work with curly hair). It tooks months to grow it out and not have bad hair days.

5. What's the best and worst thing about your hair? Why? That'd be the curls. I love them and when my hair was really short, I missed them. But sometimes they just have too much personality. I'm pretty ok with it now, but I used to get upset when I'd see curls going every which way.
