Chicago trip confirmed
I'll be in Chicago from Wed, July 16th (late) until Fri, July 18th (leaving right after class). Class is from 9am - 5pm on Thursday and Friday.
Hmm... I'll probably be offline during the trip. I don't have a laptop and I'm not going to try to blog from my phone. I might hop on Yahoo Messenger though. I'll have to pack a bunch of books.

It's in 2.5 weeks, not today.
The Axim is a good idea (and d'oh, I'd have it with me anyway). I just have to find somewhere that'll have wireless 'net, right?
Starbucks has T-Mobile Hotspots which you can use via a monthly or per-minute plan. Most of them will give you a 24-hr free trial.
The secondary option is to steal bandwidth from unsecured Access Points in the area...in a large city like Chicago, they shouldn't be too hard to find with a net sniffer.
Another thing to consider is whether a keyboard might not be a good purchase to facilitate quicker text entry.

I won't be there long enough to drive out and visit with her though. And it's probably a leetle far to go for dinner (for her).
