Inspiring
I just finished watching Finding Forrester. What a wonderful movie. It had a great cast and a very good story. I adore Sean Connery.
It's definitely on the "watch again" list.

Random trivia... If I remember correctly, the author of that script was from Portland
I'm sure you needed to know that, right?
I agree. That was a wonderful movie.
One of my favorite bits was when Mr. Connery hopped op his little bicycle and rode off down the street... he was so cute. I wondered what went through his mind when he saw that scene and realized, if he hadn't already, that he'd achieved "cute little old man" status... hard to reconcile in my mind that the same man was, and still is, a sex symbol.
Oh, I loved that movie. If I'm channeling surfing and I see it's on, I always stop and watch.
To follow up on an earlier comment... the screenwriter is/used-to-be a morning show host on Portland's "adult contemporary" radio station. His name's Mike Rich, and during the progress of selling, filming and releasing this, his first movie, the listeners received a blow by blow account of the ups and downs and interesting little quirks of the movie industry. Interesting, engaging stuff.
We got a similar treatment for his second movie, The Rookie, which is another nice little piece of work (though not as moving as Forrester).
