New gadgets

Brad and I got new cell phones today. My phone would lose charge after ~5 minutes of using it. Annoying.

Brad got a Sanyo 5300 phone and I got a Sanyo 8100. My phone was only available (in stock) in silver/lavendar. Brad thought that wasn't really his color, so he got a different phone. He has a nicer phone, but I'm very happy with the one I picked out. He would have been happy with a 8100 also if it wasn't such a "girlie" color.

Both phones take pictures, send/receive email and text messages, games, ringers, screen savers (mine has the cutest little alien guy who shows up when you open the phone) and web browsing. We ended up getting a shared minutes plan too.

The phone numbers haven't changed, so if you already have them, you're fine. If you want to give me a call (since I can actually talk for more than 2 minutes), let me know.

Now you must run amuck places, and take pictures of silly looking people. I think your phone is almost as sexy as you.

I think it's a pretty phone. But I can definitely see how it wouldn't work for Brad. wink

Ack, I don't even like talking on the phone, and I don't want to be avaliable at all times. That's what IM is for (Well, the few times I'm on anyways...)

Not a lot of people have the number (and almost no one from work), so my phone doesn't ring a lot. But it was frustrating that when it did ring and I couldn't talk to the other person for very long.

You know me though, IM is the easiest place to find me, Mr doesn't sign on much.

radio shack sells lavender 8100 phones... i was on ebay and i was looking for one when all a sudden when i went to look at an advertised sanyo 8100, it wasn't what i expected.... this guy was a sprint worker selling numbers to use as referals to save money on your bill.... i wasn't too sure if it was some gimmick but i was just wondering if anyone has herd of such thing and if you'd get in trouble for that kinda stuff
