Looking for purple pens

| daily misc | | Comments (11) | TrackBacks (1)

I like using purple pens because I know when I spot one on someone else's desk, it's probably mine. Plus it's easy to spot on printouts, etc.

While Googling for "purple ink pens", I found this article: Ink may signal worker's true color.

"Have a passion for workers who are helpful and eager to please? Then keep an eye out for those who have a passion for purple.

To be more precise, people who prefer purple pens believe they make perfect employees "

Now, I don't believe I'm a perfect employee. I just like purple. Now if I could just find some damn pens that don't suck!

Update: A friend who is good at finding things online has found purple pens for me at Office Max! I'll get over there this week and buy some pens.

I work with a woman who is "the purple lady" in our office. She has EVERYTHING purple. Any office supply you ever thought of. (well, except white-out) She should enjoy that article.

I myself fall into the category of people who would rather use a keyboard than pen and ink. I actually got criticized for bringing my laptop to meetings to take notes, because I type faster than I write, and my handwriting sucks. I was told that it's too "distracting". Such is life.

Purple is MY color! The only pen I ever have is purple, but not purple ink...I'll have to find me one of those. I am a strong believer in a paperless environment and avoid using paper at work and at home, but I do carry one pen in my purse and it's purple =)

I'm definately a purple pen girl. And purple post-its, and purple stapler... LOL! My favorite purple pens are by far the Pentel RSVP fine tip pens. They write so nicely, and fit well in my hand. I know that office Max carries them; probably other major office supply stores do too smile

You may want to try the G2 Pilot, which I know comes in purple - a coworker is always looking for those.

I think I'm going to hunt up some G2 Pilots. I remember liking the way those write.

Thanks for all of the suggestions, everyone! Who knew that there were so many purple people out there. wink

Wow, that was cool - I prefer purple pens too, sometimes alternating with green... But most of all, I prefer a computer

It's good to see so many purple-pen fans out there. I started using purple when I was an editor -- everybody else used red, so my purple edits stood out. I'm bummed that Pilot doesn't make the BP-S in purple anymore, but I still have a couple stashed.
