Monday Mission 3.28

1. When was the last time you were in the hospital as a patient? As a visitor? Jan '01 as a patient. Before that by a number of years as a visitor.

2. Have you ever been put under anesthesia or sedation? For what reason? Did it mess with your mind? Yup. For surgery in Jan '01.

3. Have you (or someone close to you) ever had any major surgery? How did it go? If major means being knocked out, then yes. It went fine. No complications.

4. How about the emergency room? Have you ever had to be taken there, or had to accompany someone else? What happened? I went with someone once a long time ago. He was hyperventilating and drinking on whatever Rx he was on. Bad news. I rode in the ambulance. It was not an experience I'd like to repeat.

5. Have you ever donated blood (or other fluids)? I'm donating blood tomorrow! I usually do about every 2-3 months.

6. Are you an Organ Donor? How do you feel about having your organs being donated to those in need once you die? Have you or someone you know ever been the recipient of donated organs? I am. I'm comfortable with someone else getting my organs otherwise I wouldn't donate them. Nope, I don't know anyone who has gotten an donated organ. Or if they have, I am not aware of it.

7. Do you know any men who refuse, or are too afraid, to go to see a Doctor? Why are so many men like that? YES! I don't really have any idea at all.
