Yes, they could have trimmed his face a little more, but part of the problem is probably just that he's still fluffy from being blown dry. Tomorrow or the next day his hair might flatten out a bit, and he'll not look so bichon-y. I never groomed a maltese puppy, but did lots of adults, and they weren't ever that fluffy, so maybe it's just his puppy coat.
I don't think it's possible for Peri to get any cute than he already is. This one is my very favorite, you can tell he has cats for siblings.
i think he looks great! his bright little eyes are out and shining now and he can actually see that food bowl he pushed around.
Tracy: He's still pretty puffy, but we're getting used to it. I think once we get him used to having his face held, they'll be able to trim closer on his face.
