So Peri. The sneaky little guy. He chewed on my speaker wires so much that I lost my left speaker. Yeah, I had the sub woofer on the floor and he finally noticed it. So now I have a set of Brad's old speakers. Cambridge Soundworks. Not bad. ![]()
Then last night, Peri was on my lap and leaned over and chomped on my gel mouse pad. I noticed this morning that there was a small puncture mark. So, now I have a new gel mouse pad.
I'm thinking of getting him one of those training collars, but I'm just not sure.
Also, on Tuesday I'm taking him back to Puppy Day Care to see how he does now that he's a little older. Hopefully he won't get an upset tummy again. If so, no more PDC.
Which would be problematic because they were going to puppy sit for us when we went to Gnomedex. Speaking of! I'd better make boarding arrangements for the cats now. [Ok, that's taken care of.]
Grishka is going to the vet on Wednesday because he's still peeing on the floor (the floor in the cat room is just destroyed) and he seems to be complaining a lot during the day when Brad's home.

Oh, yeah, defintely vet time then. The whole peeing on the floor, when they know better, is a major not good sign. Of course, when Chase gets pissed at me about something (like the puppy) he pees in my bed. So I guess you could be happy you don't have THAT problem!
Unfortunately he's been doing it for a while. He started back when we had Ed & Stewie still. Brad thinks it was around the time we'd gotten on of the Litter Maid litter boxes. He hated it. Then he stopped for a while. But he started up again. And he's done it when it was just the 2 cats. And continues to do it now.
I hope they can find something wrong or give us some meds to help he stop needing to pee on the floor.
At least he hasn't moved to the new carpet yet.
not sure if this is helpful at all, but one of our boy cats (that we no longer have, sigh) started using the floor as his litterbox. took us a while to figure out why - his brother had apparently scared or threatend him at some point when he was in the little box, that he wouldn't go back in there because of it.
just a thought.
I don't think the girl kitty is harrassing him and the litter boxes are out of puppy reach (plus the puppy doesn't get free access to the house yet).
The boy was definitely freaked out by the Litter Maid. I just don't know what his issue is this time.
Please keep your fingers crossed that it's something and not in his head.
Oh man. Sounds like we have opposite kitties. Mine are mad that I quit using the Litter Maid (it quit working). If there are more than 2 piles in the litterbox, one of them pees behind the washing machine, the other in the corner of the basement. Which is getting REALLY old...
Tracy: We have ours in the garage if you want it.
I have a male cat 1 yr. neutered, but he is peeing on the floor, (sometime, not all the time) I see him go in the litter box and use it, but why would he be peeing on the floor? Also my husband and my son fell asleep on the floor in the living room and my cat peed on the end of the blanket. My husband is going to make me give him away if I don't fix this problem. HELP!!!!!
You wanna make your kitty behave well punish him i noe its not the funnest thing but try it next time the boy cat pee's on the floor dont sigh, clean it up and then do nothing do him before you clean the pee up get the boy cat and rub his nose in it hard then yell at him and then throw him out of the room, it worked VERy well for may cat! Hope it works
