Curves
I've made a decision (pending price research). I'm going to join Curves for Women. I've lost a bunch of weight lately but I need to work on my muscle tone now. And finally at last, I'm ready to. There's one between the office and my house. And another one not far from home.
I'll let you know once I find out the pricing, but chances are I'm going to sign up.
Go me!

I joined Curves this last spring. I paid $58 to start and $29 a month. When I go, which hasn't been much lately, I really like it. I go when I know I won't be bothered and when it's not too crowded. I'm in and out in flash! It's great!
Cool
- I need to do something like that too, but I don't like exercising anywhere near other people... Next time I see you, you'll be all buff and stuff...
Ken: Except we're supposed to get together this coming weekend, so I think that's a little soon to expect major changes.
I have heard really great things about Curves. I might look into it myself when I get a job. Go Lisa! Go Lisa!
I've heard a lot of good things about Curves - my mother-in-law has been going, and really is happy with the short amt of time required to do it. Good luck!!
Let me know about that, I may join you! :-)
Good for you!
A friend of mine goes there and loves it!
I joined Curves a few months ago and it's fabulous! It's rather cheap, depending on where you live - for me it was $48 to join and $29 a month. Good luck!
Definitely keep us posted with how you like it. There are a couple here in Louisville but I'd never heard of it before. Will talk to Mike about trading the YMCA membership in for one there.
Ladies, I have left Curves for Contours Express. Weight-bearing equipment is so much more effective. Good-bye plateau!
