So I got a phone call tonight from someone who called with the sole purpose of taunting me! He called and told me he'd had Pad Thai with seafood for dinner. Two of my favorite foods.

I think he was in NYC. There's a decent Thai place on Parker Road though.
Ooohhh...I had pad thai for the first time the other day. They made it "white girl mild" for me. 'Twas yummy!

I might try it with a little more spice next time. I wanted to start out mild, since I'm a total spice wuss. But...the gal I went with no only orders it super hot, she then gets the little pots of other spices and peppers, and LOADS it on. I cannot believe the heat she can tolerate. And she's like, 5' tall and about 90 lbs. WTF??
