"To the Nines" by Janet Evanovich

I read this while at Gnomedex last weekend. It was the perfect read for the weekend. Nothing to strenous. I could read it on the plane (though I'm not really sure that I was awake much on the plane for either flight).

I like reading about Stephanie, Joe and Ranger. It's fun to watch their relationships evolve. And it always cracks me up when someone in the books goes to the QuakerBridge Mall (I used to work there).

I'm almost done with the book I bought in the airport for the trip home. I have to finish it before I go because there isn't enough left to bother packing it.

If I hear one more good review about this book! I think I have to get it now. Glad you enjoyed it.

My spouse and I have read all of her Stephanie Plum books up to #8. We are looking forward to reading Visions of Sugar Plums and Dressed to the Nines! Do you want to sell your copy? So far, #5 has been my favorite.

Jonathan: My husband hasn't read it yet, so I don't think he'd be so happy with me if I sold it to you. Plus they're such fun books to read, I'll probably read them again soon.

I can't wait to read this!! I've been stalking it at the local libraries, waiting for the non-reserved copy to become available -- and I see that there's a copy at the one next to my softball field. Hopefully no one will snag it tomorrow during the day and I can grab it when I get there tomorrow night and have it for vacation!!! I know, I'm such a dork.

Did anyone else notice that the first chapter of "To the Nines" was almost an exact repeat of another chapter from a previous book of Evanovich? I could swear I'd already read about Lula and Stephanie trying to get the fat, naked and greased-up guy into custody. Anyone else see that?

Anyone know where the title came from on this one?

The front of the book says "Thanks to Denise Margo Moy for suggesting the title for this book."
