We're #2!
2. Denver, CO
"Denver is a great place for those concerned about the economy. The city has a low unemployment rate and affordable housing. Denver is winning the battle against the air pollution problem that threatened in the 1990s, and its 554,636 residents now breathe some of the cleanest air in the country. The ninth-safest big city in the country, Denver has a low violent crime rate. The climate is comfortable, with little rain and no noticeable humidity. There's also great recreation indoors and out, including world-class theater, opera, dance and of course, skiing."
So when are you moving here? [everyone else is invited to move here too, but I got tired of making links
]

did that say "low unemployment rate"? i should be packing my bags already!
i do love denver, and the entire state of colorado, actually....especially in the SUMMER when the heat in texas is a little bit on the UNBEARABLE side!
Hmmmm...you DO have baseball out there!
But I love New England too much to leave it. However, Connecticut holds no interest for me as a place to live, and Providence, RI, as nice as it may be, has the most hellish freeways we've ever been on!
We'll stick with Maine as our future home!
But, but, I thought you were moving here?? No jobs, high housing, dirty air. That's what you want isn't it?
Hey no fair, Statia! That's my argument for Lisa moving to L.A.!!!
I'm moving to Tibet. I should start learning the language.
Wah. I want to move back to Denver.
I notice that excerpt does NOT mention cost of living (Such as the fact that an equivalent house in Denver costs at least double what I paid for mine in Omaha!)
I took up shopand residence in Boulder, Ft. Collins and Bellvue Colorado...never Denver, just not what I was looking for nor what I enjoyed and loved about Colorado...not at all...
Denver sucks. If you want real Colorado living, go Durango!
I would LOVE to move from the Netherlands to Denver.... If only I had a visa for that
!!!
lalala, can't hear you Clara!
Raising the roof from Colorado Springs! Woot! Woot!
My sister lived in Littleton, CO when I was about 12 or 13 used to spend my summers there and go to a lake nearby I think it was Holton lake or something close, can't remember! Had absolutely wonderful summers there and if I had the opportunity I'd move back there in a heartbeat!
Please heed my words...no one else come to Colorado, to live or even visit! We have enough outsiders here who can't drive! People from Texas and California need to pay special attention to this!
Denver is pathetic if you ask me. Yes, they say low unemployment, yet they do not mention that most of the employment is menial and the pay is lacking. Plus, the place is so boring, watching grass grow is exciting
