All in the family
My family is odd. Ok, almost everyone's family is odd in one way or another. In my family, they mail articles from the newspaper to you when you're "on the radar". Apparently I'm back on the radar again because I've gotten 2 articles since my trip back east. The new article is titled "Winners and Losers, Economically Speaking" by David Leonhardt (from the Sunday NYT).
The article ranked the states by 6 factors: employment, unemployment rate, poverty rate, health care coverage, median household income and personal bankruptcy filings. Colorado is ranged one of the worst states. In the top ten states: Montana, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Vermont, Alaska and... New Jersey. MA seems to be in the middle as does NY, PA and MD.
It's kind of cool getting my own personal selected articles from the New York Times. ![]()
