Naked laptop?

| daily misc | | Comments (5)

Well, I have this shiny new laptop sitting on my desk and it's been neglected due to too many hours at work since I got it. I'll be installing software on it this weekend.

Alas, it was naked! I talked to adi and Tom and decided to get a spiffy bag from Timbuk2. I can't wait for it to arrive. The bag will not exactly match my winter coat, but I'm ok with that. grin

I think I probably owe you guys some pictures. I got my hair colored again and haven't taken pics. Plus it's getting long (my former bangs are down to my chin now). Plus Peri goes to the groomer on Saturday. So I'll work on the picture thing this weekend. Oh, and I really really really need to take my truck in to get the tires rotated. Anyone want to do that for me? Maybe I'll take it after I drop Peri off between 7:30 and 8:30 Saturday morning.

I'm rambling. It must be bed time. sleeping.gif

Night night, sweetie!

This summer, I rotated my own tires. Not fun. The problem is that there is one point in the operation that you have to have two tires off of the car at once. So we now have a really big segway, without the computerized balancing.

Fortunately, I jacked it up safely enough that it did not fall, and I saved some cash by not paying someone. It just reminded me that I really hate working on cars.

I've changed air filters, water pumps, oil filters, but never rotated tires. Oh and I helped a friend change out a flat tire. I figured the $35 to have someone rotate and balance my tires was money well spent (and it's finally taken care of). grin

Yeah, I prefer to cough up the 35 or so bucks to have someone do it for me... I used to do it myself, but... $35 bucks? Can't beat that wink

And it would have been free if I'd gotten the tires from them (but they were the tires that came with the truck).
