Pissed off

I'm kind of having funky side effects from some new meds I'm on. It's been going on since last Wednesday. So I called the doctor this morning at 8:30. She still hasn't called me back. Nor did she have a nurse from the office call.

So I'm going to be researching a new primary care doctor. Because that's bullshit.

That sucks. Been there. Adjusted my meds myself. Not that I recommend that, but you know your body better than anyone. Hang in there.

Been there, done that. My old doc left me a vm one day and after 2 weeks of calling every business day to see what he wanted he left me another one saying he'd no longer converse with me via phone or vm, and I would have to get an appointment. Needless to say that's when I got a new doc.

I know my insurance has a 24 hour nurse line, maybe yours does too? Might not hurt to try and get more immediate info.

Yeah, you deserve better than that. And when you do find a good doc, be sure not to let him/her go, because good doctors are damn hard to find... (I haven't found one here in CO yet...)

Definitely time to find a new doc -- there's no excuse for that kind of treatment (even if it is all too common these days).
