Annoying

| daily misc | | Comments (2)

Yesterday I had a dentist appointment to get 2 fillings drilled out and then re-filled. That went fine (after the second shot of Novocaine) and eventually my mouth felt normal. Today when I was drinking some water, I felt a twinge on the teeth that were the focus of the dentist yesterday. Later when I was chewing a piece of gum (sugar free), there was a lot of pain.

So I called and went by the dentist's office on the way home. Turns out that they were deep fillings and I should expect sensitivity for about 6 weeks. Did the dentist mention this yesterday? Nah. So now I have Fluoridex to apply to the top of those teeth 6-7 times a day for at least a week.

At least I know what to expect now. tongue

I have a filling I got replaced last year that's still somewhat sensitive. It's when I eat weird things too. Like chips, or something like that. It's calming down a bit, but it took a long time.
