The very last Monday Mission ever!
PromoGuy's Monday Mission 4.0: The very last one. Promo came up with some thought provoking questions so I'll miss the MM.
1. In the last week, what happened that made you feel loved beyond your wildest dreams?
[ from MM 1.0]
Nothing especially.
2. What was the last audio CD you paid money for?
[ from MM 1.3]
Brad picked up Sarah McLachlan's new CD for me recently. I picked up a bunch of CDs on my trip back east from a cool store in DC. One of them was Dido (either Life for Rent or No Angel). Another was the new Barenaked Ladies CD.
3. Has someone you know ever told you they had a terminal illness? What was it like for you when you found out. How did that change your relationship with them?
[ from MM 2.45]
Happily, no one I know has a terminal illness so I haven't had to deal with this before.
4. Do you have an accent? Are there any phrases or words you say that tip folks that you aren't from around these parts?
[ from MM 2.38]
I have a NJ x CO accent. It's not much of one, but I definitely say some words in a "NJ-like twang" and some in a "CO-like twang." I can't think of any words right now though.
5. What's the difference between being a Father, and being a Daddy?
[ from MM 3.25]
A "Daddy" is more of a heart-person than a "Father" is. He's the guy who you can always go to no matter what the problem. I happen to have both and think they're both great.
6. What is the most recent thing guilt has motivated you to do?
[ from MM 2.50]
Drive back to work after an appointment I had tonight. Ok, that wasn't really guilt, but I was halfway home when I got the message.
7. How do you feel about tips and tipping? Do you feel obligated to tip even if your service is bad because you know the servers don't get paid much? If you've ever relied on tips for your income, how do you feel when you don't get any?
[This is a new one, had to throw in at least one more hot topic before I sign off]
I'm generally a very good tipper if the service is good. I think it's important to tip in response to the service received. I try to tip something even if the service was lousy because I know they get a low wage. I waited tables for about a month one summer and went back to retail jobs.
BONUS: Will you still love me for the rest of my life? Absolutely! Did you get TiVo yet? ![]()

I have TiVo, yes I do. I love TiVo, how about you?!
Have it and love it!
