Misc health updates
Allergies:
I actually made it to the allergist two weeks in a row. Of course, when I went last week, it had been so long since I'd been (about 6 months) that they'd sent my serum back to the main office. This week, my stuff was there. Since it's been so long since my last shot (Sept), they had to dilute the serum a lot. I think I'll still be back up the normal dosage in 6 weeks, but I'm not sure.
Headaches:
Less severe than last week, but still miserable. Still taking way more Motrin than I'd like but it's the only thing that seems to regularly chase away the headaches.
Jaw/Tooth:
Going to the dentist again on Monday. I hope hope hope that he can figure out which tooth it is this time. I took all of my antibiotics like a good girl. ![]()
Sleeping:
Yeah, not so much. Related to headache and jaw pain. And a small floofy dog who thinks we should all wake up no later than 5:30 (which is when I'd wake up if I'd slept decently).
Vision:
Had a good eye exam. New contacts arrived already! I have to look at them but I suspect they're the same Rx as I'm wearing right now. I got 4 so I can throw one out every 3 months.
If I forgot anything, leave a comment and I'll update this post.
Geez, I'm really not broken. Almost everything is related to this damn filling problem.

I went to the allergist and did that whole 4 day testing, and found out I was allergic to stupid things like cattle and lobster. Getting those bi-weekly shots now! Fun stuff!
Yeah, sounds like once the dentist issue is done everything else should taper off. Hang in there!
Pauly: Those bi-weeklies suck. It was really silly of me to put off getting my shots especially since I only had to go once every 4 weeks. Happily most of my allergies are non-food based. I don't think I'd be a happy girl if I had to give up my lobster/seafood and beef. Or are you allergic to cows so you can't go play in a field with them?
Susan: I can't tell you how much I hope that's true. I'm calling my regular doctor on Monday anyway to make sure I'm not doing bad things by taking so much Motrin.
