Needed: One dark room

| health | | Comments (5)

I forgot how bizarre the after-effects of getting your eyes dilated are. Yuck. I decided to take a whole day off instead of a half.

Off to take some Advil and find a dark corner to curl up in until my eyes return to normal.

I'm very lucky. I always make mine the first appointment of the day and then explain I am going back to work, so I have never had my eyes dilated. Sounds scary.

I've got pretty bad eyes, so it's important that they make sure that they're healthy inside and out. Hence the dilating. I've had it done all my life, but this was the first time I had a headache afterwards.

*hugs* to the 3 of you. smile
