Enough already

We need the precipitation because it's been a really dry spring so far, but this is silly.

DENVER - The metro area could get two inches of precipitation by Friday, according to 9NEWS meteorologist Mike Nelson. Some of that moisture will be falling as snow.

Nelson said that parts of the metro area will get between six and 12 inches of snow, mostly Thursday night and Friday. Temperatures were dropping all day Wednesday. The overnight low will be 34 degrees.

Snow will start falling in the foothills Wednesday night. Areas over 7,000 feet will get about two feet of snow by Friday.
